TOTAL TIGHTNESS IN THE INDUSTRY

Environment concern cannot be limited to the economic aspect, as future generations will need the resources wasted today.

Much is discussed about the future of our planet, , experts from all over the world have started looking for alternatives that can reverse global warming and its terrible consequences for the world's climate.

To reduce the volume of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere, we need more than ever to stimulate the search for energy efficiency. In the industrial environment, where energy waste still reaches significant volumes, we can certainly contribute a lot.

Some companies believe that the cost of wasting energy in their processes is irrelevant, but they do not consider how much it really affects their competitiveness, directly and indirectly, as it reduces their energy efficiency.

Energy efficiency can be achieved by eliminating production process outages, by not indirectly emitting energy to the environment (losses of steam, liquids and raw materials), by maintaining a regular flow production, without interruptions, in addition to the choice of products built to last.

Every production system has a performance curve that only reaches the ideal point after a certain manufacturing pace. It is this rhythm that guarantees the product's quality, and whenever it is broken there is a raw energy loss.

When production is interrupted for routine maintenance, energy consumption does not cease, as in most cases it is not possible to simply turn off the lighting system, the boiler, the compressed air system and others that must operate continuously in the industry . All of this is energy loss, which leads us to a direct equation: less maintenance = greater energy efficiency.

By investing in more effective and durable, equipment and systems, we will be saving valuable resources in the form of energy, raw materials and inputs, which today seem endless - but are not.

The most important part is our children and grandchildren's future. The concern with the environment cannot be limited to the economic aspect, as future generations will need the same elements that we are wasting today.

Ways to increase energy efficiency in the industry:

  • Reduce waste;
  • Reuse inputs and raw materials;
  • Reduce maintenance interventions;
  • Stimulate the smooth flow of production, without interruptions.
